OLIVER TWIST: A terrible job

One night, Fagin visit Bill Sikes. He and Bill were planning to rob a house in Chertsey. They wanted silver. Bill Sikes was going to do the job with his friends, Toby Crackit. Then, Toby and Sikes had already tested the doors and shutters of the house. There was only one small window and it was left open at night. They would need a small child to go in the window and open the front door for them. Fagin said to use Oliver to go in the window and open the door. The next night, Nancy was take Oliver to Bill. Oliver thought about calling for help, but Nancy said to Oliver to remember one thing: whatever they make you do, it was no fault of yours, and they would kill Nancy if Oliver did not want do something to them. Then, Bill Sikes and Oliver went to the place of Toby Crackit. Oliver had no idea where they were going, and what would happen. Oliver and Toby were lying in the grass on the other side of the wall, and Bill followed them. Oliver asked to Bill to let him go and he promise, he would never come near London again. But Bill never let Oliver go. In a minute they had the window open. Oliver started walking slowly to the house. Oliver thought he would run up the stairs and warn the family. Then Bill yelled in alarm, he said to come back. Oliver’s lantern fell to the floor and Oliver fell back to the window. Oliver heard men shouting and guns shooting. He felt himself being carried over uneven ground at a rapid pace. Then a deadly cold feeling gripped the boy’s heart, and he saw and heard no more.
