Elizabeth could tell to Mr. Bingley that
her sister was falling in love to him but Jane refused to show her feelings.
So, Elizabeth mentioned this to Charlotte Lucas. Whenever Bingley was with her
sister, Elizabeth watched closely. Meanwhile, there was one thing she failed to
notice that Mr. Darcy was becoming interested in her when he saw Elizabeth was
at Lucas Lodge. One morning, Jane was invited by Bingley’s sisters, Caroline
and Louisa, to dine with them that evening. Jane asked her mother for the
carriage but her mother said that she had better go on horseback and looks like
it will be rain. She spent the night at Netherfield Hall and she is very ill. Elizabeth
was worried because the family carriage was not available and she was not a
horsewoman. She decided to walk but Catherine and Lydia volunteered. Elizabeth
said goodbye to her sister at Meryton and went on alone until she arrived at
Netherfield Hall. She saw her sister, Jane was ill with fever and headache. Then,
Elizabeth was called to dinner and when dinner was over, she returned to Jane’s
side. In out of the room, Mrs. Hurst and Caroline talked about Elizabeth that
she come here shows that she loved her sister when her sister has a cold. The
next morning, Mrs. Bennet, Catherine and Lydia came to visit jane. Elizabeth
was embarrassed by Mrs. Bennet’s behavior because Mrs. Bennet compared about
Jane’s beauty and good nature. She also compared Mr. Darcy friendlier than Sir
William Lucas. Elizebeth was eager to have her sister well and more eager to
leave.
