Logbook Reading 2 : The Count of Monte Cristo ( chapter 6 )

           One day, Dante disguised as a priest and went to Caderousse, his old neighbor. During Dante in prison, Caderousse became the owner of a small country inn in the south of France. Caderousse would never guess that the priest was Edmond Dante. He visit Caderousse was to find out why he imprisoned. When Dante asked Caderousse to tell him about why he was in prison, Caderrouse's face grew pale. Caderrouse said that Dantes troubles were none of God's doing but the work of two evil men, Danglars and Fernand. Danglars and Fernand were the ones who accused Dante of working for Napoleon. Caderrouse also told him that Dante's father was dead. Dante's father died of sadness, waiting for his son who never return. Although, Monsieur Morrel and Mercedes brought a doctor but it was too late. Mercedes married with Fernand, and had a son, Albert. She was one of the richest ladies in Paris. Monsieur Morrel had a sad story. His last and best ship, the Pharaon, had gone down in a storm. He became bankrupt. Dante was sad and had a tear from his eye. Then Dante gave the diamond to Caderousse and said goodbye to the amazed and delighted Caderousse and rode off.
