Pride and Prejudice: Wickham’s Story

               The story of Wickham made Elizabeth was shocking. Darcy and Wickham grew up in the same house, Wickham’s father was dead and Darcy’s father was a great man. He want help Wickham. Wickham said to Elizabeth that Darcy gave his money quite freely to the poor and he was a very thoughtful guardian of his sister and Lady Catherine, Darcy’s aunt expects her to marry Darcy. Jane shocked when she heard the story from Elizabeth. She thought there had some mistake. Two days later, Elizabeth went to Netherfield, she hope to find Wickham. But she heard from Denny that he wasn’t coming. Darcy looked uncomfortable when Elizabeth talked about Wickham. Bingley never even saw him until morning at Meryton. Jane said to Elizabeth that Darcy and Wickham was the same. That night, Collins spoke to Darcy without being introduced, Mrs. Bennet spoke long and loudly to Lady Lucas about Jane and Bingley would be married soon. Then, at the ball, Elizabeth’s youngest sister, Mary, sang for the guests but her voice was weak and her manner affected. The next day, Collins asked to speak to Elizabeth alone. Collins said that he want to marry with her. She refused Collins and her parents was shocked when they heard about it. Her mother will never see Elizabeth again if she don’t marry Collins.
